Situated in the French Riviera, Cannes boasts inhibited wealth and fast paced high class living, whilst it promises a slice of Provence life to its tourists.

Home to the yearly Cannes Film Festival, many Hollywood movie stars come over to celebrate the latest movie premieres at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, inside the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, situated on the Promenade de la Croisette. The Cannes Film Festival is widely known as "the European Oscars", having catered to nearly all of the biggest movie stars over the past few decades, since it started in the 1940s.

The Mediterranean coastline of the French Riviera offers golden sandy beaches with a glistening aqua sea coastline, and tasty provincial views of the glamourous upmarket area known as the south of France. Oh lala!
