It's that time of the year when you can look crazy, scary or anything more you want, specially for the 4th edition of Halloween Horror Nights
, organized by Universal Studios Singapore. This year, "The Minister of Evil" rules as the instructor for all the horrid experiences.
In The Minister’s Arena, there are 4 Haunted Houses for you to scream to your heart’s content until you lose your voice. "The Lab – Laboratory of Alien Breeding" is the longest haunted house of the all 4. You get to experience the gruesome human/alien hybrids, along with the crazy creators of all those creatures. In the "Mati Camp", you face recruits that are being tortured in crazy training methods and in "Jing’s Revenge", you experience the fear, the screams and the cries for help through the aisles of the Hua Xing Secondary School where Jing, a bully victim, hung herself 10 years ago. Last but not least, in the "Jack’s 3-Dementia", the first ever 3D haunted house that Universal Studios Singapore has created, you get to wear 3D glasses to experience a funhouse that has gone insanely wrong, with demonic clowns who want to practice their sick tricks on you with confusing visual illusions.
From all the 4 Haunted House experiences, "Jing’s Revenge" is the most real. Because it happens in a school setting which everyone has experienced before, it becomes an awfully familiar experience, with so many shocking scares.
Apart from the 4 Haunted Houses, there are also 4 Scare Zones. "Demoncracy" is set in an urban scenery ruled by the dark forces. "Scary Tales" brings out the dark side of all our favorite childhood fairy tale characters, while "Bogeyman" takes us inside the darkest, creepiest child's closet. Finally, the "Canyon of the Cursed" leads us to a deadly curse that lies within an ancestral land in the Wild West.
To top all these horrid stories, there are several attractions along the way. "Jack’s Nightmare Circus" is really a daunting show with many different acts and tricks performed by Jack's captives.
The Horror Nights happen throughout the month of October, so make sure you catch the experience before it's over. Happy Halloween!
