Glamour took the New York City night once again with the Metropolitan Museum of Art annual ball for 2012. The event celebrated the opening of the Costume Institute's annual exhibition, located in one of the wings of the museum, this year dedicated to the affinities between two Italian designers from different eras, Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.
Sequins, beads, embroidery and feathers shaped the looks that walked the red carpet, but the most powerful presence has surely by Anna Wintour. Her homage to the surreal nature of Schiaparelli was made with an interpretation of the famous 1937 lobster dress, signed by Miuccia Prada.
