A red dress always makes an impression and there is no doubt about the impact its spirited color brings. Red is commonly associated with passion, love, vitality and favors the soul with its energy. Like the famous LBD, the little black dress that became a must-have in everyone's closet by the hands of Coco Chanel, the red dress can also be a key item.

The red dress is one of the most iconic clothing pieces and already played a huge part in so many movie scenes. Do you remember Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman'? A strapless red gown designed by Marilyn Vance made the transformation of Vivian Ward. The designer actually went against the studio decision of using a black dress. And Marilyn Monroe in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'? The bombshell and her wonderful brunette colleague Jane Russell opened the classic musical in two red sequin dresses with provocative plunging necklines by William Travilla.

A red dress makes a statement, it can catch all the attention and be engraved in everyone's mind, so it´s a very important choice and good design is key. Let yourself be inspired by some of the most striking and elegant pieces.
