The days still feel cold outside, but the next season collections already fill internet blogs and fashion magazines all over the world. Milan, New York, Paris and London fashion weeks showed us what we will wear for Spring/Summer 2014 and there was one trend that definitely took over the runways. An effortless sportswear style was combined with very glamorous silhouettes. Designers created curious contrasts by adding athletic touches to feminine pieces, resulting in very unique looks.

Prada' s Spring collection presented colorful dresses combined with sportswear pieces like tops with striped collars and cuffs, knit leg warmers and high soled sandals. For Gucci, creative director Frida Giannini also made a colored sporty statement with mesh, basketball shorts and luxurious track suits in intricate orange patterns.

Marni wasn't keen on minimalism as well and played with embellishments and femininity. Sporty touches like visors, striped belts and platform sandals were combined with flowing dresses with floral prints. Emilio Pucci brought the knee pants and hooded jackets, combined with sparkling details and a very feminine silhouette while Vera Wang used black mesh with zippers and hoodies, layered with fluttering chiffon.

Sporty Chic will certainly bring fun contrasts to the next season. Take inspiration on some of the looks.
