To promote her third studio Album "Artpop", Lady Gaga decided to do what she does best. The pop artist arrived at the artRave launch party that was held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard last November 10th, wearing "Volantis", the proclaimed first flying dress.

Built by Studio XO, a London design agency presented under the alias name "TechHaus, the technical division of the Haus of Gaga", the unusual wardrobe piece seemed to be, basically, a massive high-tech drone powered by 50 volt batteries to which was added a white molded metal dress.

Six propeller systems inside hexagonally arranged booms, powered by two electric motors, allowed the singer to arrive in high-tech style to the building's entrance. The vehicle controlled by a technician via radio successfully flew a few yards, 70 inches above the ground and allowed the singer, once again, to fill the pages of newspapers all over the world. That's Gaga.
