She was once a dedicated lecturer in English Literature, but today Gail Gardner spends her days creating amazing millinery pieces for her own brand, GG’s Pin-up Couture
. It may seem a strange transition, but the fact is that her creative side was always there, peeking and waiting to come out.
Her kitsch designs are quite unusual and emanate a rockabilly feel in delightfully fun concepts. Glitter dinosaur skeletons and crystal ice cream cups pop up from shiny round bases, while more complex compositions are made with a wide range of multicolored flowers, juicy fruits and small animals.
Seems this career change was really a good decision.
