The Chanel Haute Couture collection for Spring/Summer 2015 was previewed this week, during Paris Fashion Week, and left viewers completely enchanted. Karl Lagerfeld has really outdone himself, creating a floral wonderland that models frolicked through with infinite grace.

Origami flowers bloomed from the neutral white plants in the hothouse along the runway, as a rebirth of Chanel bloomed as well. Straying from the usual "black and white" number, Lagerfeld created a collection of bold colors and floral panels.

The common botanic theme went from cropped tops and long skirts to sequins and tulle, as if the models were embracing their inner little girl playing dress-up. Surely Chanel’s refreshing collection will also make us want to revisit our past and pull tutus out of the closet. Well done, Mr. Lagerfeld.
