Olivia Palermo, New York City fashion icon, married German model and boyfriend of six-years, Johannes Huebl last June 28th. The couple had a quiet ceremony with close family and friends, away from the city´s turmoil, in Bedford, New York.
Palermo's favorite designer, Carolina Herrera, designed the three pieces that were the core of her wedding ensemble: a simple cream cashmere sweater with scattered ostrich feathers and a pair of chic white shorts with a full tulle skirt overlay that cinched at the waist in layers of satin and silk, featuring a high slit in the front with floral details along the hem. "Something blue" was her deep blue Manolo Blahnik heels she walked down the aisle in. She wore stud earrings by Alexandra Mor and a bracelet she bought while traveling in Jodhpur, India.
Her hair was pulled back in her signature ponytail and her makeup was kept very natural, soft, and romantic. Palermo said, “I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused on the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favorite personal looks".
Johannes Huebl also looked the part in a tailored white suit, a piquet shirt, a navy blue Charvet tie and a matching pocket square, all by Marc Anthony Hamburg. See for yourself.
