In a water arena, the show for the Philipp Plein Spring/Summer 2015 collection started with a group of synchronized swimmers in a fabulous water ballet presentation, followed by American rapper Theophilus singing on the back of a jet ski across the long pool.
The whole menswear collection was inspired by water, classic nautical references and exotic destinations. Prominent colors were blue, white and red in bomber jackets and "captain looking" embroidered blazers. Exotic leathers, cartoon prints and accessories were also a strong presence.
Philipp Plein says: "I designed this collection for a self-confident man, adventurous and ironic just like me. Water represents energy and power, this is why the man I imagined favors marine details and prints. He is a modern captain, a water world captain."
