For next season, we will see as much pastel colors as we can think about, combined with pops of strong colors like dark cobalt blue or emerald green, as seen in Alexander McQueen or Alberta Ferreti resort collections. While Sonia Rykiel focuses on soft pastel color block skirts and dresses, candy pink and bright yellow are a must for Versace. Black and white are also present on the cruise collections, as well as nude tones. Alexander Wang uses a pop of pink to lighten up his black and white trousers or jackets.
Another trend for the season that made its appearance on most Cruise collections are the cropped tops. Be ready to show your abs this Summer. There will be fresh looks featuring flower print dresses, a must for the season according to Stella McCartney and Erdem. For Pre-Spring, Just Cavalli presented an oriental print inspired collection featuring jumpsuits and long dresses.
We should not forget to mention the shoes. Flats are in and wedges are the current trend, as seen in the fresh styles of Burberry Prorsum. Classic pointy pumps are still a must as Casadei thinks.
White is the predominant color, followed by pastels, floral prints and brown leather. But let the images speak for themselves and enjoy the looks.
