To create this new line, the company was inspired by global urban culture and couture craftsmanship while taking it's usual african essence. Funky Grooves is about contrast and edgy street wear influences, with colors ranging from earthy browns, brick reds, brassy golds and bronzes to shocking pinks and fresh acid blues and greens.
The Funky Grooves collection of fashion fabrics includes wax-prints and Luxury Editions with lurex threads, metallic sequins or sparkly Swarovski crystals. There is also a matching line of handbags and accessories with luxurious finishes, perfect to create your own personal look. Vlisco's new collection "Funky Grooves” will be available from August 2012 at Vlisco's flagship stores and on the Vlisco online store.
