Balmain has merged together with the high street retailer H&M to create a fabulous capsule collection labelled “Balmain x H&M” that comprises of jewellery, jackets, menswear and womenswear, along with footwear and eclectic accessories.
The Balmain x H&M collection shows a deliberate binding of Parisian and multicultural themes. Colors used include dowdy blacks, soft creams and metallic silvers, along with deep golds and purified whites.
Keeping to its fashion ethos, the distinct beading patterns that Balmain uses upon its blazers, jackets and dresses are unique and show a timeless elegance to the outfits finishing touches. With a cocktail of Parisian style designs and Indian themes, the look, feel and spirit of the capsule collection is something that Olivier Rousteing, creative director for Balmain, wanted the viewers to embody and the versatile supermodels definitely brought it to life.
