Designers like Christian Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier have created clothes for her in the past, but now it’s time for Moschino. Barbie, the most famous doll in the world, was just dressed by the renowned Italian fashion house.
The very talented Jeremy Scott, creative director for the brand, collaborated with Mattel to create a capsule collection inspired by the legendary doll. This collaboration seems to make sense. After the very pink and plastic Spring/Summer 2015 collection, the love Jeremy Scott has for the iconic doll became quite official.
The ready-to-wear capsule collection features 2 very fashionable Barbie dolls with a full set of stylish items. A t-shirt with a statement slogan, a pencil skirt, a leather bomber jacket, a sleeveless top and a pair of bermuda shorts make the basic doll set, along with a few classic Moschino accessories, like the golden lettering belt and the peace symbol earrings. The gold chain necklaces and the biker bag complete the tiny collection.
With 2 doll print t-shirts, 6 of those small items are also available in human size to anyone who’s ready to be real-life Barbie.
