We have all seen some amazing luxury luggage sets and at some point we imagined ourselves, at least some of us, carrying them. That desire is often created by companies that dedicate themselves to the making of fabulous products and truly aspirational advertising campaigns.
The Louis Vuitton fashion house is quite known for their timeless luggage sets. They have hat boxes, makeup bags, soft and hard luggage, trunks and anything else you can think of. The classic LV pattern looks great on every single piece and its classic design actually seems to get better with time.
Gucci is also another company who started with handbags and luggage manufacturing. Its campaigns give us the essence of luxury and indulgence. Carrying most of our things with us while on holiday is portrayed as a must. Givenchy‘s interpretation is usually stronger, vibrant and yet practical, as there is no need to carry everything with you, as long as you plan wisely.
Missoni, who launched a vibrant line with Target in 2011, created trendy and adventurous suitcases for the retail giant. Their colorful design was a hit and exactly what you’d expect from the brand.
Last but not least, Samsonite, one of the oldest companies specializing in luggage creation. Their name comes from the biblical Samson, highlighting the product’s durability. Their campaigns usually focus on that particular feature, which is the company's pride.
Although most of us wouldn't mind carrying the whole set with all the different luggage sizes, it really is more practical to use a soft leather hand luggage where you can carry your most valuable items. The rest can go inside a discreet suitcase, preferably in a model that drives less attention. The "traveling in style" dream remains in the pages of amazing magazines.
