Today there are many brands that support eco-design and 959 is definitely one of them. This Italian company is 100% sustainable and defends the sole use of recycled materials.

Founded in 2009 by the hands of designer Paolo Ferrari, it started with a line of handbags made of junkyard materials. Taking its name from the year of 1959, when Volvo introduced safety belts as a standard; shoulder bags, messenger bags, shopping bags, weekend bags, trunks, backpacks, laptop and Iphone cases were made of old seat belts, buckles and other recovered waste materials.

After the success of these first products, the brand decided to focus its attention on homeware with the creation of a contemporary range of stools, baskets, vases and table pieces designed for spaces, balconies and gardens with a strong personality. The result is a line of sophisticated products that can definitely make difference in your home and the world.
