In the world of the smartphone wars, everything counts to capture the consumer's attention. Formerly a king in the market, Nokia now faces tough competitors. With Apple selling iPhones like hot cakes and Android operating system accounting for almost 80 percent of the global smartphone market, they struggle to stay relevant with their products.

To promote Lumia 1020's photo capabilities, the Finnish company turned to two big names in photography. David Bailey and Bruce Weber were invited to walk the streets of Harlem, New York, with the 41 megapixel smartphone in order to capture the soul and the spirit of this typical neighborhood.

The result is a set of 60 colorful pictures, portraits of a distinctive place that is full of engaging and interesting people. Weber who, until now, had never done a digital sitting before, was surprised to see the quality he was able to achieve with a simple phone. See for yourself some of the photos.
