It was when Natalie Irish
was getting ready to go out that she came across a rather brilliant idea. While doing her makeup, she blotted her lips on some tissue paper and realized it could be used in the same way she used to create portraits in High School, with thumbprints.
From this point on, this Houston-based visual artist was all about loving the arts. She started creating elaborate portraits by kissing the canvas with lipstick in different portions and pressures, in order to create all the necessary nuances of volume and light.
She captured everyone's attention in 2001 with an you tube video where she creates an entire portrait from scratch just by using this rather innovative form of Pointillism.
