Venezuelan designer and illustrator Benjamin Garcia
creates colorful portraits that are more than just simple faces. They reveal the other side of the soul through layers of color and texture, embedded within the human skin.
Through what the artist describes as a "meditative process using paint", brushstrokes of color are applied over the initial clean sketch to create new volumes and shapes. Faces can be duplicated and overlapped on canvas to create those new textures in unique, expressionist compositions.
