'Bad Romance' was presented at the end of the Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 show, during Paris Fashion Week. The music branded the event and generated so much interest that McQueen's website's servers went down due to the enormous amount of hits to see the catwalk video.
Later, Lady Gaga appeared in the 'Bad Romance' video using McQueen from beginning to end. Starting with a golden dress combined with a pair of blade lens glasses to a net top covered in crystals and ending with some of the most daring pieces: a structured bright suit with provocatively high heels or a dress that seemed to jump directly from the skin of a white bear.
The clean, aseptic aesthetic that rules throughout the video highlights McQueen's garments. They have a central role in a story that intends to show the hard side of the female spirit. "Bad Romance" is certainly the best representation of Alexander McQueen's work to the extent that all his eccentric universe is in harmony with the boldness of his unofficial muse.
