The Western fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen and Lewis Carroll are engraved into our minds. We all know these fables by heart and we all have created an image from the characters and the sceneries that make each story, mainly due to a lot of Walt Disney adaptations that were produced for the big screen.
South Korean illustrator Nayoung Wooh shows us just how these fairytales would be if they had been written in Eastern Asia. She takes these legendary stories and reinterprets them from her own point of view in Manhwa cartoon style. Can you recognize the stories?
