For Italian designer Marco Sodano, Lego pieces are like dashes of paint. He uses them to recreate famous paintings and iconic album covers in what looks like a collection of curious mosaic compositions.
But for those who think Marco has a lot of time on his hands, please note that the designer doesn't really spend his day gathering Lego pieces in different colors to meticulously create these pixelated images. He actually does it digitally over the original images, a lot of times by request from a very captivated audience, and he has hundreds of album covers that he shares in his Tumblr page, Lego Albums
So the most curious thing about Marco Sodano's work might not be the work itself, but the overall interest towards his Lego image collection that makes it a rather entertaining internet phenomenon.
