Who doesn’t love a fashion themed movie? Besides some of the all-time favorites, like "The Devils wears Prada", "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and the "September Issue", “The House of Versace” will certainly be added to the list this next October.

Produced by Lifetime, the much anticipated TV Movie stars Gina Gershon as the fashion maven Donatella and Enrico Colantoni as Gianni Versace. The film is based on the book by Deborah Ball, “House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival” and focuses mainly on the life of Donatella Versace. After her brother's tragic killing, she became the creative head for the brand. At a point, her drug addiction almost brought the fashion house down to bankruptcy, but she still managed to go to rehab, survive and continue the “Versace” legacy.

There is a lot of excitement about the movie, mainly in regards to the costume and the production design, but the opportunity to have a glimpse of the actual Versace world and its history seems to be even more appealing. Last but not least, it is rumored that pop muse Lady Gaga is singing the theme song. What could be more adequate than that?
